Pagarbiai
Pasaulio Lietuvių Bendruomenės valdybos vardu

Public Statement
On behalf of the Lithuanian World Community, we express our solidarity with the President of the Republic of Lithuania, the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
Together with the entire democratic world, we condemn Russia’s aggression and military action against Ukraine.
We unconditionally support the sovereignty, territorial integrity and courageous and peaceful people of the independent State of Ukraine, and especially the Lithuanian community in Ukraine.
We can only resist the war that threatens not only Ukraine but also the security of Lithuania and the Baltic States, Europe and the world if we act unanimously and stand together.
We appeal to all Lithuanians and Lithuanian communities around the world to actively urge the governments of their countries of residence to show solidarity with Ukraine and to support the aspirations of its people to defend their country.
